A dedicated archivist maintains fairly up to date (and extending backwards quite a distance) archives of the main GZG list. They can be found here. They are equiped with an excellent search utility and contain years of discussions from which value can be obtained. They also contain answers to many newbie questions and discussions of many common issues of tactics, game mechanics, painting, etc. Take advantage of them and search the archives!
